OUR POLICIES

Boars’ View Membership Policy

Membership on our Mailing List is voluntary. Periodically, Mailing List members will be provided opportunities to purchase wine from Boars’ View and its related brands. Information regarding orders placed through Boars’ View will be available to customers via the website through their personal account or by calling our business office, following customer verification.

We provide our wines via online offerings, directly to our thirsty customers so that they may enjoy our wines. We reserve the right to refund open orders and inactivate accounts for any members engaging in second-hand sales of Boars’ View wine offerings. Evidence of second-hand sale will be considered a forfeiture of Boars’ View Mailing List membership, subject to immediate order and account cancellation.

As you know from the Mailing List application, we obtain from you your name, your residential or business address, your company name, the company’s address, a contact telephone number, email address, and your date of birth (to ensure that you are over 21 years old). As we said earlier, except as described herein, Boars’ View does not share any California consumer personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent. Shipping Policy

Our fulfillment partner ships wine on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure that your order arrives within the work week. They monitor the weather and may place your shipment on a ‘weather hold’ if the weather conditions are not conducive or are unsafe for shipping wine. Should this occur, you will be notified via email when the wine leaves the warehouse. We assume no liability for wines that are overheated or frozen due to weather conditions that change during transit.

Boars’ View works within the limits of each state’s alcohol shipping laws. While we do our best to ship to as many customers as possible, as of this notification, we are unable to directly ship to the following states: AL, AR, DE, ID, IN, KY, ME, MS, ND, NE, OK, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV, and WY.

For shipments to these states, customers may choose to engage the services of an alternate shipper. In these cases, customers will work directly with the alternate shipper to coordinate the delivery of the wine and payment for these services.

Will-Call Policy

Boars’ View provides an option for ‘Will-Call’ collection at our fulfillment warehouse, by either the customer or their designated alternate shipper. When selecting an alternate shipper, the customer must have an established account with the alternate shipper at the time the order is placed. Will-Call orders will incur a $10 charge per order to be charged at the time the order is placed. Will-Call orders must be collected from the warehouse within 90 days, otherwise the order will be automatically cancelled and the monies paid will be refunded to the customer.

Return Policy

At Boars’ View, we take great pride in crafting the finest quality wines for your enjoyment. As your satisfaction is our primary goal, please inspect all packages as soon as they arrive. Should any bottle(s) arrive broken, please contact us via email at orders@boarsview.com or by phone at 707 942 1115 within 48 hours of receiving your package(s) to file a claim. In most cases, we will arrange to have the wine picked up. Whenever possible, please keep the original package and its contents exactly as you found them. Understand that if the broken product cannot be retrieved or if we cannot obtain sufficient photographic evidence, we will not be able to process a claim for the loss.

All of our wines are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving the fulfillment center. Any return request due to a defect in the product will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Wine should not be returned without prior approval from Boars’ View. If you have an issue other than breakage, please be sure to keep the bottle, its unconsumed contents and the cork so that we may address your concern. All concerns of this nature should be addressed to our offices via email at orders@boarsview.com or by phone at 707-942-1115.

We, along with our fulfillment partner, do our very best to monitor the weather and will delay shipments, whenever possible, if temperature extremes are forecasted. However, we cannot assume liability for wines that are overheated or frozen if weather changes should occur during transit.

Refused and Undeliverable Shipments

If an order is refused by the customer or returned by the shipping company as unable to deliver, cancellation fees, return shipping fees, and any reshipment fees will apply.
